Where is my data stored, and who can see it?
Your data lives on your own dedicated container on Hetzner Cloud (Falkenstein, Germany — UK GDPR-aligned). Your account is logically isolated from every other customer — separate database, separate WhatsApp link, separate URL. The only humans with access are Live Watch Stock engineers (currently just the founder, Michael) for support purposes only. We don't sell, share, or train AI models on your data.
Do I need to upload my WhatsApp messages or photos?
No. You scan a QR code (same flow as WhatsApp Web), select which groups to monitor, and we capture new posts as they arrive. The 30-day backfill starts rebuilding historical posts immediately — most groups land in minutes, deeper history keeps filling in over the first hours. Nothing leaves your phone — we connect to WhatsApp's official Linked Devices system.
How long do you keep my photos?
Forever — included in every plan. Every photo you've captured, every post you've saved, every deal you've tracked is kept for as long as you're a customer. No 2-year cutoff, no archive tier to upgrade to, no expiring data. Cancel and your data is deleted within 30 days; stay subscribed and your full trade book lives forever.
What happens if I cancel?
Email support and we'll cancel within the same working day. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. Your data is deleted permanently within 30 days of cancellation per our Privacy policy. No retention scripts, no friction — just a clean exit.
What if WhatsApp changes their rules?
Live Watch Stock uses WhatsApp's official Linked Devices feature — the same system that powers WhatsApp Web and the desktop app. As long as that feature exists (and there's no indication WhatsApp would remove it — it's their headline desktop offering), we work. If it ever changes, we'll adapt or refund pro-rata.
How fast does new content appear in my feed?
Real-time. New posts arrive in your search-able feed within a few seconds of being posted to a monitored WhatsApp group. The 30-day backfill (one-time, on first connect) starts immediately and keeps deepening over the first hours as WhatsApp releases older history.
How do I get support if something breaks?
Email support@livewatchstock.com. Response times: typically within an hour during UK working hours (9am–8pm), and same day otherwise. Built-in support page inside the app gives you a direct link too.
Can I claim this as a business expense?
Most dealers can claim Live Watch Stock as an allowable business expense (reduces taxable profit). Speak to your accountant to confirm — every business is set up differently.
Do you offer a refund or trial?
Your first month is 50% off — that's effectively a half-price trial. If it's not for you, cancel before the second month and you've paid less than a tank of fuel. We don't generally do refunds beyond that, but reach out if your situation is unusual.
